It’s a tough life being a garden gnome sitting on a cold rock day in day out and even harder for a Grecian statue shivering in a barely-there toga. At least they get a chance to stretch their legs when the clock strikes midnight.
The garden gnome is a jolly sort, but dislikes being teased for being a bit on the short side and rosy around the nose.
The Grecian statue is very snooty, believes she is made from the finest alabaster, but really she’s just a concrete statue from a garden centre.
This can be a very simple duologue to perform, but it can be elevated by good characterisation.
There aren’t many necessary props for this duologue, but you could go-to-town if you wanted by setting the scene to look like a garden rockery. Perhaps some large shrubs in pots if you have them and a garden bench.
