This duologue features two ladies of indeterminate age and general lacklustre appearance, whose lives are so packed with activity that a morning in the doctor’s waiting room is a significant and fascinating experience!
Letitia is very set in her ways, rather forgetful and a bit wet. Her friend Myrtle is altogether different with more of a forceful personality. They both love to gossip and have nothing better to do than to pass judgement on other people.
This duologue is all about comedy timing and charactisation. There isn’t much movement, but the action comes from the characters’ expression.
There are minimal props required for this duologue and the props that are required are probably easily at hand in the theatre anyway.
